When you’re doing your groceries and the cashier asks you whether you’d like them to be packed in paper or plastic, what do you say? Do you know what you should say? is it better to go with paper or plastic?

The answer is neither! Plastics aren’t biodegradable and will just end up clogging our landfills. And paper? Well, the production of paper bags means many many trees will have to be cut down.

The solution is to invest in those reusable bags. Keep them in your car, or any place where you’ll see them and rmemeber to take them with you to the grocery!

In my personal opinion, biodegradable cutlery is one of the best “green”" inventions out there. Let me tell you why!

People nowadays claim that they’re always so busy. There’s hardly time to do anything. Individuals thrive on fast food, e-mail- everything fast! Everyone is looking for ways to eliminate time consuming processes.

An example of this is dishwashing. So many people hate it because it eats up so much of one’s time! This abhorration for dishwashing is what pushes people to choose plastic cutlery instead, and paper plates! Now don’t deny it, you may be guilty of this too! While convenient, the problem with plastic cutlery is that they’re not biodegradable and clog up our landfills.

What’s the solution? Biodegradable cutlery made out of corn! These things look like the plastic version but they’re a million times better because they’re good for the environment! They’re perfect for hot and cold food too!

Look for these in your local grocery and do your bit to help the environment while eliminating dish washing!
